To get a good night’s sleep, you have to make a bedtime routine and a bedtime habit. Carly Prendergas, a certified sleep science coach and sleep expert, said the habit of relaxing in the process of preparing for rest and optimal sleep is important.
He said, “The habit of relaxing will help the brain produce melatonin, and eventually lead to sleep,” adding, “It’s better to make a habit of going to bed at the same time every night.” He added, “A warm bath, skin care, and reading books can become a habit of relaxing.”
