7. Eat foods high in sugar
Before going to bed, Rorshiv said it was best to avoid foods with fast blood sugar levels.
“If your blood sugar increases rapidly, you can wake up in the middle of the night,” he said. “If you need a snack before going to bed, eat foods with low blood sugar levels, such as oats, that will keep your blood sugar stable throughout the night.”
