4. Another thing that annoys is his solo stans. I’m so sick of that constant victim narrative that literally justifies anything he does and invalidates any criticism. Is he to blame for his solo stans? No, but it certainly has made me dislike him more. It’s like even as an artist you can’t criticize him. Most arguments on Jimin end up with his stans bringing up a list on how lie was so impressive, how filter got so many streams, how he won some award for his dancing, or how Jimin is the most popular in Korea and what not. I hate Jimin solo stans and I dislike the person they so vigorously try to defend. He seems like a deceitful and self-serving person constantly looking for approval and how to sell himself in the best possible way to please whoever is relevant at the moment. My words were harsh, I know. I feel bad about having this perception of him because I do believe his story about being insecure, which I think still applies and is the main motivator for all of this in the first place. Don’t get me wrong, I like him being in the group, I just think he’s the member who has gained the most by portraying himself as someone way better than they actually are and that is repugnant to me.
