The international model competition, Altitude World Supermodel 2022 (AWS2022) which took place in Thailand Bangkok from May 29 to June 4, finally announced South Korea representative Paul An as the champion. The AWS Final competition took place on 4th June 2022 at Grand Chambray Avani Sukhumvit Hotel at 7:30pm.
Paul’s (An Seong Jin) victory lived up to the expectation when he was among the most prominent participants throughout the competition alongside Malaysian contestant Justin Ho.

The AWS 2022, which was supposed to be participated by more than 20 countries, was only able to bring 8 participants as many were unable to present themselves at the last minute. In the men’s category, the 8 finalists who participated in the competition were Malaysia, Korea, India, Thailand, Vietnam, Singapore, Indonesia, and the Philippines. The women’s category only participated in the Philippines, Vietnam, Singapore, and Thailand.
AWS 2022 also combined the WFS (World Fitness Supermodel) competition which was organized for the first time. For WFS, participants from Vietnam won the competition.
“Am I dreaming? Thank you so much. I’ve been thinking of this moment for so long but at last, my dream came true. If you really work hard on what you are doing I think you can achieve the goal. I really thank Hyunmin-A my National Director. He really did a lot for us and for all the contestants. I think we are family. Thank you so much. I love you guys. Have a great night,” said Paul who is also known as Putra Paul.
