KB: You entered Altitude World Supermodel Korea last year and were eliminated during the competition. How do you feel?

JY: I got off in the middle of the competition due to various busy schedules. Last year was too busy to handle the competition schedule and other schedules. But I was proud and happy that my friend won the championship.

KB: Following Altitude World Supermodel Korea, you participated in another competition representing Korea and won the championship. Can you share your experience and expectations for the competition?

JY: I have participated in several world competitions. It’s not easy to compete with cool models from all over the world. In addition to thorough self-management, you can get a good ranking only when everything is perfect, including intellectual skills, language skills, and manners.
It’s never easy to go abroad and participate in a competition, but I’m motivated that much and I can firmly grasp the direction I need to go.

It was a valuable and fun experience as much as it was hard.

KB; In Altitude World Supermodel Korea you used the name Roger as a nickname. Now you used Jin and Joo Young. Why did you change your name? Can you tell us the story that changed its name?

JY: The name ROGER is the name of the actor in my favorite musical RENT. It is a musical that I participated in and I decided my name as ROGER because I played ROGER. However, I decided to change the name to Jin because it was easy to call and write.
